Therapists and Coaches work really hard to serve those in need of therapy and business coaching, Mindfulness Painting helps to prevent compassion fatigue and burnout by deepening your connection to yourself.
Mindfulness Painting Experience is a creative expressive art used to paint your inner landscape. This practice enhances your clinical skills and provides you with much-needed self-care. As you practice mindfulness, you become present with your own internal process. This allows you to pay attention to your feelings, body sensations, and emotions while creating marks on the paper with color, and a brush. Similar to therapy and coaching, you learn to use the “Self” while painting as an instrument to develop stronger intuitive and clinical skills.

Enhance Clinical Skills Self-Care Personal and Professional Growth Creativity
Mindfulness Painting helps therapists and coaches prevent compassion fatigue and burnout by deepening their connection to creativity. Mindfulness Painting Experience is a creative expressive art used to paint one’s inner landscape, enhance clinical skills and provide self-care. As the painter practices mindfulness, they become present in their own internal process. This allows the painter to pay attention to their feelings, body sensations, emotions, and thought process. While painting mindfully, the painter learns to use the “Self” as an instrument to develop stronger intuitive and clinical skills.
Imagine spending time quietly connecting to yourself without any pressure to produce. You catch up with yourself by accessing your creative source. You joyfully explore colors, shapes, and textures. You lean into your body and give it the downtime that it’s been asking for. When your body experiences the expansive space that opens up, there is room for more clarity, creativity, connection, healing, and transformation.
In addition, the clinician develops an experiential understanding of the relationship between the inner critic and their resistance. This resistance is a dance in the process of individuation of self. The intention of the inner critic is to announce that you are coming close to something that you don’t recognize. You will also learn the seven principles of process painting with discussion over the course of the 8 weeks including 1) Not Knowing; 2) Listening; 3) Respecting; 4) Following Your Intuition; 5) Working With Difficulty; 7) Not Interpreting the Story, and 8) Completion.
